People and fireworks do mix???

We went to Lexington, MI to visit a friend's cottage. Wanted to get good shot of the people who own the cottage so we'll keep getting invited back:

    I think these are nice shots. Nice timing on the fireworks too! I guess you can't help how shining the flash makes them, I know you had to use it, because that's my only problem with them. I think they will really like them because they stand out from regular snap shots.

    I did diffuse the flash, but yes, it is a necessary evil. I didn't do any post work to them, so I might be able to soften the flash a bit. Thank you again for the kinds words.
