    clap.gifI really like this one. The light bouncing off the paper back onto his face is great, I like the soft sepia effect too, it makes it feel timeless. Good use of rule of thirds and the quadrants seem fairly well balanced.

    Great shot but I find the light area in the upper left distracting.

    Thanks for the feedback!, I agree about the light coming through the window, makes it a bit confusing where the light on the face is coming from, maybe I should have shot it horizontal and included the lamp......

    Nice frg, you really seem to be enjoying B&W. I agree with the upper left light being distracting. A tighter crop on the top and some burning in will reduce the distraction. I hope he is doing well with his studies.
