SM uploader v2 says system isn't recent enough to continue securely
G5 (pre-intel) running 10.4.7, recently reinstalled
Didn't have the problem before reinstalling the system ( trying to solve corrupt fonts thingy)

have reinstalled SMuploader too since error message but no change

We're working on it, Simon. You can run V1 still if you like

    Ah it's a a recognised glitch?

can I use it anyway- how insecure is insecure - I mean what could happen?

Im trying v1 Andy but I forgot it was slower or is it SM's Thur,pm/Fri,am downtime that's making it so slow?

Anyway Ive left it on but it hasn't uploaded even one in 10 mins so as it's late Im off to bed with fingers crossed:-)

Unfortunately, you can't use it anyways... simply because it will refuse to work. :(

This is an Apple bug, that is requiring us to rewrite a decent chunk of the uploader unless they beat us to it and fix it on their own (doubtful).

Sorry, I wish I had a good answer... this is giving us a lot of heartburn over here.

So... this is strange as it did work until I reinstalled me jolly ol' system softwareheadscratch.gif

Sorry to hear about the heartburn, the homeopathic remedy 'Nux Vomica 30' is often helpful for those with indigestion due to (intellectual) overwork.
    How do I know?thumb.gif

EDIT: I notice the uploader v1 says I have uploaded 18 pics, but only 11 (of those newly uploaded) show on my site
    http://digital-finger.smugmug.com/gallery/1598390/1

    Safari and Firefox=same

    what's happening?

Just cancelled it and the error messages came up=
Error writing to server for 5 of them and system error (nologin) for 4 of them

    ???

Just trying again and they're still not showing up

I bet Im doing something stoopid and really simply wrong......?
Is it me? or the uploader?
