Some black and white flowers (3 medium pics)

These shots of an orchid and some poppy seed heads were high in contrast and low in colour so I thought I'd try B/W for a change.

    Thanks David, I think I'm finally learning what makes a good B/W conversion, trouble is now I'm going back through my old pictures and retweaking them all. Didn't there used to be 24 hrs in a day?
