I'm a rookie at photography, now I know, because I'm missing so much about it, but at the same time it's so cool, to know there's a lot of things to learn about this beautiful art... lifestyle, yeah!

I want to know now, where(site) can I find information on how to build home-made artifacts to improve my photography, I'm talking about this topic because I don't have enough money to buy me all those expensive gadgets that are needed to shoot AMAZING! pictures.
And when I talk about Home-Made Artifacts, I'm talking about nice sets to do macro photography for example, what materials I'm going to be needing to do them and the instructions on how to construct them.

All your help will be more than useful.

Thank you!!! :D:D:D

What a great topic! I have seen some home-brew lighting set ups, and some interesting macro setups, but never all in one place.

I can tell you I always carry a small LED flashlight in my bag for doing night time paint with light type shots.... looking forward to the replies on this one.

There is a thread in the Hall of Wisdom that has a lot of what your asking about. Do a search in that forum for macro and you cannot miss it.
