Hi there all, will issue a warning now. The photo following may scare some viewers and I can not be held responsible.....:D Also I am covering this event all weekend so there could be a flood of Rally images for a while.

This shot was part of the media shakedown this morning. I got the chance to take a drive around the special stage with Simon Evans (current ARC leader). This was an experience to remember, these guys can definately drive. A special Thankyou to Bob Seary (A mainland Pro following the rally circus) for the photo.

Forgot to mention the rest so far can be seen at the Safari Tasmania Gallery.

The moening started out extremely foggy and very slowly improved. By the time the sun was completely out the days activities had finished.

    Nice! Wish I was there!

I'm going to a Ferrari event next weekend, any advice? (if I get any shots like these (not in the dirt =p) I'd be happy!)

Lucky you. I'm guessing that Simon didn't expect you to read the pace notes as well....:D

Mate, I look forward to seeing the shots of all those Ferrari's. The only advice I can give is look for a good corner and have fun.

Morning David, I did ask if he wanted me to read the notes, but as he so kindly informed me "this year I have made saftey notes, as I had a little problem last year".....:D Last year he crashed out on one of the stages.

... I love these shots, but I hate you so much!

For me, Rally = love. I used to navigate for an amateur series in Ottawa, back in my hometown.

I want *so* badly to find the way into getting myself a shooting pass for the WRC...
