Changing Themes in Bulk Settings

My question pertains to using bulk settings. I am able to use bulk settings to change everything EXCEPT theme. For some reason, i can't get the theme to change.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

    thanks....
    Control Panel>Themes>all pages theme (select your theme)

    Then, in each gallery, be sure that you've got your theme set to "default"
