I was at youth camp with 40 kids at a private lake. Got up with sun and snaged this before the water got filled with kids and the day got busy. Was a fun time.

This photo suggests the "calm before the storm"! The water is wonderfully still!!! Lovely photo...I like how the water fades in the distance. Has a very peaceful, serene feel to it. thumb.gif

Thanks saurora, it certainly was not calm the rest of the day. I have some other pics but I am having trouble getting them on to my site.

Very attractive shot. The water is so smooth it almost looks like sky. I like it.

Looks almost unreal! "Attractive" is right. I like the way you've composed it, with the edge of the boat sloping into the corner. Did you crop at all from the original?

I cropped the top of the picture a very small amount because it had a reflection of some trees across the lake. That is it. As for composition, I didn't feel I could go more to the left because there were some canoes and I think it would have been distracting.

    Thanks for kind words.
