Black Hawk Farms
I finally got a chance to take in some motorcyle road course racing!!:clap It was at Black Hawk Farms, in South Beloit, IL.
I'll tell you one thing, they move a whole lot faster than motocross! It's been at least 10 years since I've attended one of these road races....I had a blast.
Here's one leaning into a corner....
Leading the way....
Exiting a turn...
Trying the hi-speed pan thing....
Catching the crash, as it unfolds....
I got the entire crash sequence. He tucked his front tire as he entered the turn. He slid off the track, took a tumble, but stood right up, apparently none the worse for wear.
Temps were in the high 90's, felt like the mid 100's, and I'm sure the track temp was higher. I hope to get back to the track for a second attempt before season's end.
Thanks for looking!:uhoh

Any reason you're not cropping these?

Yep...personal choice....:D
Thanks...it was shot with the 20D, 70-200L f2.8 IS with 2x TC, ISO 200 @ 1/200 F11. IS mode 2 activated to help with up and down movement. I got quite a few good ones, once I figured out how much faster these guys were going than what I was used to....:D
Nice job!!

....at least if they're lucky they don't. One guys bike went about 8 feet in the air, but I missed it!! He was fine btw.

Here's a new take on the first shot.
