    It is a good shot of a Monarch. It may help the composition to have more room on the right and less on the left. You would get more of the second flower in the frame, have less dead space on the left, and the butterfly would be more off center. Keep em coming.

    I am not much of a critic because I am just learning to take good photos but I do like the color in this photo. The dark background juxtaposed with the bright colors of the monarch and the flower really give it a nice feel IMHO. I also think it is just neat that the flower looks like it is just opening up for the butterfly as its petals are all down.
