Well, I'd like to report some really positive results that I and my lovely wife have had with the Kodak Easyshare Z612. It's a 6mp, 12x optical zoom with image stabilizer, SUPER super P&S. Did I say super?
It's small, light, yet feels like a camera not a credit card :lol3 it has an evf you can actually use. The IS works. The zoom range is lovely. The onboard flash is handy and good. My wife takes it everywhere.
I had the chance to use it at our son's 7th birthday party recently - and I'm really impressed with the results!
