I couldn't find on a search what I was looking for. I know someone recently made their own light box. I have a small light box, but want to build a larger one. PVC frame. I'm thinking of using a white bed sheet for the draping rather than going to a fabric store for cloth.

What are people using as the draping material for their light boxes? Thanks.

I used fibreglass cloth for one years ago - gave a very nice diffuse soft window light effect. I suspect any thin white cloth could be used as long as fire is not a concern - I was using blue photo lamps and heat was a serious concern then. I would use broad sun light style flourescent lamps today. You might also consider electronic flash as a light source also - but then you would have no modelling light to examine.
