    Hi Yuri

These are really nice. My only query is on number 1. Did you intend for the fan to be above her head? It looks, to me, as though she's wearing it, a little distracting possibly?

    I like the sepia one.

Hi Yuri - nice portraits, as usual. But I have 2 comments: I also saw the fan in the 1st and assumed, given your angle, that you actually tried to create the illusion that she's wearing the fan as a head-dress... if so, if you had stepped just a bit more to the right, you might not have seen the black area to the left of her head, creating a more complete illusion. Also, the lighting on the 2nd doesn't look up to your usual standards of excellencene_nau.gif The shadows on her face make it look like she hasn't had enough sleep and has bags under her eyes.

While I generally don't do portraits, I always make the effort to look at yours b/c they typically are so stunning. Keep up the nice work.

    cheers,

    C.

    Hi Yuri,

for me the third portrait works best, mostly because it shows a bit of attitude in her character. The first 2 photographs do not use light to illuminate her. I do realise they are candids and I have the very same issue with many of my casual portraits, never the less the lack of light on her face is a big minus.

I like #1 the third shot makes her face appear to short. The first shot had candit appeal.1drink.gif
