If you shot in raw you can make one photo for highlights and one for shadows then combine in ps.

I moved this thread from the Whipping Post to here, since it's a better fit for this forum. The Whipping Post is for your best work to get critiqued. This is a better forum for working through improving a shot that's not alreadyone of your favorites.

Gadgetlady, tell us what you think is wrong with the shot, and would like to have changed. Also, what photo editing software do you have?

I like the pic. If you want a tighter composition, you might want to crop a little right to remove the edges but I think what you have has excellent scale.clap.gif

The first thing to do composition wise imo would be to straighten it up!

i find it distracting when two horizontal lines the bridge and roof lean so much turn it a few degrees anti-clockwise.
Trapped in my bedroom taking pictures...did i say bedroom? i meant studio!

I took the liberty and did a rework of your image...... all I have done is add a soft blue grad to the top and bottom of your image with a little fade.....

    wow! thanks for the suggestions!
Thanks! I did see the skewed horizon, but I would never have thought to add the blue fade.
