Cropped from a shot at the awards ceremony for the 1st annual Walter and Janet Sondheim Prize, a 25,000 dollar prize given to a visual artist working in the Baltimore area. Sondheim is a legendary supporter of the arts, and civic leader in Baltimore. I really liked the shot although I'd be hard pressed to get 4x6 out of it without a trip through true fractals.

This is an ortho conversion starting with a 50% red photo filter, then channel mixer blue 100%, monochromed +20 red +20 Green +80 blue, then a new copy layer with a grainy diffuse glow applied, blending set to overlay 50%, finished with a sharpen for the original layer and a slight shadow curve boost, and vignette.

I'm interested in anyone's opinion on how close to an authentic ortho shot the conversion is and how film like the grain structure is. Any comments are appreciated.
