Trust me, Troy, unless someone has tried to capture hummers, they have no idea how hard it is to get good shots!! thumb.gif

I know how hard it is. I posted some photos of hummers I took in the evening, while the Wife and I were sitting in our yard watching them and I was hand holding the camera. Made even harder when you are using a lens up around f/5-5.6 that doesn’t want to focus in the waning light. You see one and by the time you can find it in your viewfinder, provided the lens achieves focus and doesn’t just hunt, it decides to zoom off. Boy can they pull a disappearing act, they must have a built in after-burner or super-charger. I know, and I know those are some great captures.

These are great. I would expect to see them in a book.
    Canon 40D. Lens Sigma 170-500, Tamron 75-300, Quantaray 19-35,
Bogan Tripod. Gaint Yukon 25' Bike,

Like it or not we most often get what we deserve in the end.
