...with my new 30D and more importantly my new 300L f/4 lens.

I put the lens on the camera, dialed in 320 ISO and an f/5.6 aperture and fired away at this bathing Robin. I think I'm going to like this combo. Now if I only had put the 1.4 TC on....:rolleyes

I'll watch my background next time!

Nice capture. I have the 70-200 F/4L and I know what you mean about the extender. That will probably be my next purchase.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Hey, I just went out on the porch with my new gear and was going to take a shot of SOMETHING. Naturally, it was raining and darkish, so I thank the robin for that SOMETHING.

I thought I dialed in an f/5.6 but forgot to turn the function dial in my haste. So this is really an f/4 shot, because it was on program. Good thing the camera is smarter than me!
