...and what was your lighting setup for the macro shots in El Yunque? Very nicely done...I've had my eye on the 60mm macro for a while and these images are driving me over the edge. :):

Let's see the questions so far...

    1. We were in PR for 8 days, spent roughly in equal parts in Old San Juan, El Yunque area, and on the southern (caribbean) coast near Guanica.

    2. The photo of the fortified tower and ocean was taken from the very top of the San Cristobal Fort - I you visit the PBase gallery for San Juan you'll get a feel for what the rest of the fort looked like.

    3. Lighting setup? What's a lighting setup? Actually, this one was taken with natural light, amazing colors provided by Darwin. As far as the shooting details see:

    http://www.pbase.com/pyanez/image/62831641&exif=Y

    - the complete exif data for this and all the other shots are available at the PBase galleries

Your PR photos are so beautiful. I visited there some years ago and fell in love with the place. It's lovely!

    Be well.
