I really like the second one, you don't see a lot of pictures of them sitting on something other than a feeder. The first one however looks like the DOF is off a little, the head is fine but the rest of the bird looks a little soft to me.

I suppose that to photograph birds is very very difficult.
I don't feel like so. At least now.:):
The 1.st photo is a nice capture.
