Here's a shot from last night. What do you think?

    Like it.

The flood lights are a bit distracting from an otherwise great shot.

Great choice of topic...might want to work on cropping the rail out...lights are a little too bright...not sure how to fix. Great scene.thumb.gif

    I had to google this
to find out where it was. I haven't been to Monterey in a couple of years!

I like the shot, but find the railing distracting, more than the bright lights someone mentioned. I guess this is a on the tripod, take 3 exposures kind of shot where you can blend in less bright lights. It looks like you might have to extend the camera over the railing to get rid it... quite a feat at night.

I would have been much better off if I had a tripod and another camera. I shot
this with an S50 balanced on the rail :)

Cannery Row is a place I'd love to go back to with a proper setup and re-shoot
that and a few other things. It's a pretty bright place at night.
