    The 3rd shot is excellent, nice timing with the attacker facing the camera and added bonus of the ball and net facing you (so its clear he is the ball carrier....the way they craddle it sometimes you dont get that.

    And the background is nice and clean too :)

    Great shots, but...
    I love the lacrosse action shots. They are crystal clear with good cropping. The backgrounds, however, are very distracting. Work to either selectively focus to blur the backgrounds, do it in photoshop, or better yet, position yourself to provide a neutral background.

    I'll add my welcome as well - and nice post to start offthumb.gif I agree w/ Winger and Ivar that the 3rd shot really stands out. But overall, they are all pretty good w/ good stopped action and facial expressions. I know lax is an east coast kinda of sport, but I don't remember seeing much around Chapel Hill when I was there for 3 yrs a while back... must have spent too much time in the lab:D
