I don't know that I'd know what it was if you hadn't said "car wash".

It's kind of freaking me out -- the right side appears to be behind glass, while the left side looks like it's going to attack me at any moment.

For the most part, the lines of the washing bits look too straight to be turbulent to me, though. But it's a cool shot regardless. I especially like the colors.

It is a really cool shot, I think it's awesome! I however agree that it's not quite turbulent.


That would be a sure fire winner of the up coming Octopus Attack! photo contest however!

I really like the idea. It might be nice with more bubbles, or that first instant when a jet of water hits the window, but as is it's a good, yet confusing picture. I'm not sure if I like the "car wash" hint or wanted to freak out about what it was attacking me.

Thanks for all the great comments. It was so dark in the car that I had to use the flash to get any picture at all, and that frozed the spinning car wash things. I'll come up with something else.
