This peculiar rock formation is only visible from the farthest point of the Peekaboo Loop in Bryce Canyon, Utah (provided you climb on the last hill).
I took a few shots of it and decided on this one (I also made a bw):

prefer the colour! have you considered some selective coulour? mayb have the focus 'maiden' in colour and fade the rest away to B&W

Appreciate the feedback!
As to the selective coloring - I'm not a big fan of the said effect
Cheers!

It does not look like one of those rare cases In fact, it looks like a piece of rusty junk

Have to agree with you on this image though if you lose the colour in the sky then for me the image loses the contrast that makes the colour one so nice.

For me, Bryce is pretty much all about colors. The delicate balance of red turning orange turning yelow truning white. Plus some nice patches of green trees and, hopefully, deep blue skies and white clouds...
Cheers!
You fail to mention that in order to get this shot, you risked life and limb! We all watched (well, okay so a few wagers were laid) in horror as you scrambled along that precipace to get this shot!
And a great one it is!!!

I'm flattered,:D but nah, it was not taken from there. :
This one was though (and you can see for yourself that Maiden is not visible from there):
See the first group of people just left of the tree (you may be one of them:-)? It was taken from approximately there, here's a wider view:
Thank you, ma'am!
Was a great hike, wasn't it?
Cheers!
I agree, color all the way. Very nice. I also like the formation to the left which looks like a dog(?) sitting up and begging to me! Paws against the next rock forming the arch...
Thanks, man!
Yeah, I like it too! I call it "a lion", but that's just me:-)
Cheers!
