Mac uploader error

Ok it has worked fine in the past, but today I try and upload two images from Iphoto into a gallery I created using Smugmug mac uploader and i get the error
"Error contacting smugmug! Invalid user"
Which is odd because it lets me see the existing galleries in smugmug.

Here is exactly what I do

Open iphoto
open uploader
select iphoto in uploader
press 'new album' button and create new album called "horses"
select album set up and create it.
put tick next to album of images I want to upload and choose album "horses"
press 'upload'
get error!

any ideas or suggestions?

btw am using latest versions of both uploader and iphoto.

Quit the uploader...then

delete com.smugmug.uploader.plist, and then try again? Still trouble, email help@smugmug.com thanks.
