i'm not sure what is happening, but just recently i noticed my galleries were not appearing in their usual filmstrip mode. so, i went through all of them and made the change and saved it. now, a few days later, it's back to just showing a single picture. what am i doing wrong? thank you!!!

    Hey Christy,

Ouch, I'm sorry this is happening to you. Can you provide a link to your site?

    Thanks!

christy, when i visit your galleries they show up in filmstrip mode. is there a specific gallery you are having a problem with?

I'm guessing this is one of them: http://www.smugmug.com/gallery/1647849

And the reason is, it's set to viewer's choice?

Also, you have "hide owner" checked "yes" in gallery customization. Have a look and if you read the helpie {?} and the text line to the right, you'll see that hide owner will hide your customization, too.

thank you all for your help! i'm feeling like a big dummy now. i don't even know how to navigate thru my own website, which brings me to my real problem. i've set up my galleries so that visitors have to click one more time than necessary. is it possible to combine the last two clicks so that my filmstrip pops up faster?

for example, to see my photographs of babies, you click
galleries then babies then babies again

    i'd prefer people go from
galleries to babies and then the filmstrip would appear

    thank you guys so much!!!

Yeah, we call that "click fatigue." Make those galleries part of the category - meaning take them out of the sub category and put them in the category.

    Hope this helps!
