In another thread I mentioned "zoom slide"- the technique to create motion and blur in a photograph by zooming in to the subject while exposing the image.

Finally gave it a try on my digital and liked the results.
The full size image almost gives me vertigo :rofl

    I wish you would have given me an air sickness bag before I checked this out! That effect is amazing. I used to do those back in HS when we shot film and developed it ourselves. I really like the shot and the effect and plan to give that a go real soon.

    BTW___ the opening comment was based on the effect not the shot itself. I really like the shot.

    Your image does give the impression of motion.....

    I'm no good with things that move either, especially Video Games.

    Thanks fellas.

    "Zoom-Sliding" is a neat trick that can generate some cool effects in a photograph.

    My photo would (and maybe will) make a great background for a car photo.
