Hey there folks......well as I have stated time and time again I aint no gardener :rofl
But..... I found these old bulbs in the garage I recon they've been there for easy more than 10 years.

So several weeks ago I figured I'd put them in a pot and see if they would grow :D

This is the only one that has flowered so far, but the others are getting there very slowly.

I like Daffodils, they display a sense of Strength, their brilliant Yellow Colour is distinct, yet they are an odd looking flower ....... enjoy :rofl

Image taken with Canon 20D, Canon 100mm Macro a Kenko Ext and one Hoya Close-up Ring......... External Flash with Diffuser used.....image is not cropped in any way.

soon I will get the chance to go to the Zoo.

However the weather over here is not so good,
so looks like I have to wait a bit longer :D Skippy (Australia)

Really nice Skippy , I like it a lot.
However I would like to have even deeper dof so the raindrop in front was in focus to and the crop might be a tiny bit to tight. I love the yellow colours with no distracting background.
    Well done! thumb.gif

Hahaha......more depth of field hu? aint gonna happen trying to hand hold it a F14 already ...... the shot is not cropped, distance between the subject and the lens didn't really allow for a lot of light at all, even using an External Flash......... Skippy (Australia)

Hi Andrea your right about the yellow........ it was not easy to get at all, which surprised me the first time I tried to photograph it.
    Thanks for looking....... Skippy (Australia)
