How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Wow, beautiful! I've spent quite a bit of time in Huddersfield. My wife's family is from Holmfirth. These shots really capture the area. I especially like the one with the garden in the foreground. Driving is fun on the "wrong" side of those windy roads!

Lovely work, who knew there was mauve in Yorkshire.

My favorite is the stone wall and road, very nice.

    Gorgeous lilac bush
I enjoyed your photos a lot. We missed the "interior" of the UK while we were there.

The lighting on the hills is spectacular...

The quality of light is so beautiful in many of these! The backgrounds of the first 2 appear as old English paintings. Just lovely!iloveyou.gif

It's you guys that drive on the "wrong" side of the road!! mwink.gifrofl & yes the windy roads are great fun, especially when you come face to face with a tractor hauling a huge load of hay or a herd of cows going for milking :D

    Lynn,
It's curious how the colors of your pictures have a certain amount of similarity with those I shot in the Republic of Ireland most recently.
Your photos are very nice and so is the country.
I love English/Republic of Ireland countryside. But the weather ... headscratch.gif
