    now besides hawkman's goldfinches, there's muellers goldfinches.

    These are wonderful. You'll have to go some to get better! She really posed nicely for you.

    I like them on the coneflowers, it gives a good comparison for size.

    It's good to want to improve your work but you are being pretty modest John. Those are very good images, nice clean background, well exposed bird and perch, good pose from the bird. Yes there are things that could be better in these but they are still better than the images most people, including myself, make. Keep up the good work.

    Thanks folks for looking and commenting.
    My goal is to get closer (less crop and sharper) and better exposure.I have trouble with that.

    It's always easy to find something wrong, but I'm not so sure in this case. They look very good to me. When you do better, I really want to see more of your work. thumb.gifthumb.gif
