This weekend was a Tunerfest at the dragstrip. Car Show, drag racing and Drifting demos from one of the top drifters in the world, Sam Hubinette. It was truly amazing to watch him fling that viper around a small area with such precision. When the car was moving, the rear tires were always spinning. I had the opportunity to ride along. After squeezing my 6'5" frame into the viper..... what a rush. It's like a rollercoaster ride, only flat. Anyway, the stills just can't do it justice.... enjoy. C&C always welcome.

I'll admit I don't see the point of drifting but that shot has me changing my mind... :D

    Drifting
troglodite: She was the only one brave enough to stand there for the shot

Mercphoto: I agree, I don't understand the sport of tearing up a set of perfectly good tires in 20 minutes. But I was impressed with the car control and the models :)

allensphoto: He litterally ran the tires off the car on his last run. Sparks flying, both tires went POP.
