I think this picture is very nice in black and white or color but not both.
I don't really like the pink halo effect that's happening along her arms near the shirt. Maybe it would be less distracting if you carefully picked out only the letter on the shirt to highlight and not the whole shirt.
Overall, it is a clear beautiful picture of a nice looking girl.

Thanks. I've tried seven ways from sunday to get that haloing effect out and in the end decided to just leave it. I still like the pic although it does bother me. As a b/w image it's just not quite strong enough for me. The struggle was with the blown out background, shooting candids I find myself capturing the moment regardless of where it might be happening. This one has proved to be a challnege to process.
Allright, spent some qualtiy time with adjustment layers (some 70 odd layers) and got rid of the fringing and the pink highlights. I like it even more. New file / pic is in place of the original.
