Can anyone explain why my EXIF data is no longer showing up on my Smugmug page?

What am I not doing?

Thanks!

For what it's worth, EXIF is working correctly on my site.

todd, the original of the image you linked doesnt have any exif associated with it. did you perhaps save for web instead of save as .jpg? save for web removes all the exif info from the file.

Hmmm...the only difference is the size of the image - so, if I have this correct, if I upload a small version of the image, the EXIF info goes away?

In order to maintain the EXIF, I have to maintain the original version?

you can resize the image all you want, but if you use the PS 'save for web' command, the exif will be discarded. if you just do a 'save' or 'save as' then your exif will be preserved no matter what the size of the image.

Well, now I am really confused - I did not hit the "save for web command" - maybe some workflow is in order.

    Take pic
    Upload pic
    PP pic
    Save pic
If I am going to upload to Smugmug,
    I do the following
Email smaller version to myself and family
Save smaller version in a SMUGMUG folder on My Pictures
    Upload to Smugmug

Probably. If you use photoshop's "save as" even on a 10px by 10px version of the file, exif will be maintained and we'd show it.

Do a test, and you'll see :D If you need any help holler we're here.

Again - not hitting the save for web - just saving the smaller emailed version.

Later today, I will try just saving as a smaller version inside PS and see if that changes things.

there's something in there that's stripping the exif...do a couple tests at different points in your workflow to see where it's dropping out.
