These are my friends at the beach of Sipacate, Guatemala. I really like the blurred figure and the ocean as a background...

I like your photo ... I like the blur .. but I get a feeling of not liking something in your photo ... I looked and looked ... maybe the blue bottle ... maybe the blur ... then it hit me ... I would have liked to have the figures reversed ... the dominate person is crowding the left side of the photo. Makes me feel uneasy waiting for her to fall off the edge. Individually, the elements are very relaxing to the mind, but the composition puts me on edge, so I have these two thoughts running in opposite directions.

Anyway, that's my take I am sure others will see the photo differently than I. (So what's in the blue bottle?)

I get your point. Maybe the left figure needs to breathe a little instead of being so much in the edge. It's a shame with candid shots when you can't repeat them.

If my memory serves me correctly, it's a bottle of beer.

ahhhh ... beer in a blue bottle on a warm evening ... sounds very refreshing.

I really love this shot and I think Seefutlung nailed it on the head! But all-in-all it's a great, relaxing shot that kind of takes you away from reality for awhile!
