A Few Finger Lake Flowers

Hi All,

I visited the Finger Lakes last weekend to enjoy some of the wineries. These flowers were at the top of a mountain at Keuka Lake. The view of the lake was great but a few flower patches caught my eye. I know the DOF on pic#2 is a little shallow. Any comments or critiques on these are appreciated.

3. These flowers are going into seed but they are still colorful. I have never seen them before and have no idea what they are. Anybody?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Hi Rick,

Thanks for your comments. I went to the vineyards to shoot grapes but ended up finding flowers. I'll go back for the grapes this Fall. (For both shooting and tasting :D ) .

    Hi Nappalonia,

Thanks for the comment. This one was my favorite also. I would love to plant some of these around my house if I knew what they were. 1drink.gif

Great captures fred. I like the last the most.

The yellow in the first looks a bit blown.

    Thanks for sharing.

I have to agree with you on the first picture. I may have pushed the saturation just a tad too much on this one. Thanks for the comments.1drink.gif
