I had to wait an hour for this Hawk to fly, and it was worth the time.

But wait 30 seconds and you can see an Egret fly

Nice work William. Next time take a pocket full of pebbles and you won't have to wait so long for those birds to fly off. :uhoh :D Definitely worth the effort for HIF shots. I don't see many of those around here. Wonder if the osprey scare them off ?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

William, I know personally how long it took to get these shots!! Nice shots with the new camera!! By the way you clipped the toes of the last Egret - shame! Great shot anyway.

My camera got OLD waiting for that shot, and I only clipped his toe nails which were too long anyway.

Thanks for the advice Mike, it'll be rocks in my pockets next time. To answer your question about Osprey's scaring off the Hawks? Here's an out-take off the Hawk series. Does that bird in the upper left look familar?

You can't ruffel my feathers buster. Or can you?

An hour??? An hour??? :bluduh You had an hour to take shots of ONE freakin' bird??? I can't get 'em to hang around for a minute, much less an hour. I'm beginning to have an intense dislike for you. But grudgingly admit you do have amazing shots. I'm going to go cry in my wine.

Thanks Cinda, but don't mess up the vino with a few tears. Funny you should mention the hour, because today I found a Hawk at the basin, and was ready to do some work until he disolved in front of my eyes. I better learn to work faster. :D:D
