    Nice subject but the background really hurts the pic.

    Great job capturing the movement of both arms / hands.

    I like the movement of the arms/hands as well. Also, is he intensely focused on his fingering or his sheet music (that we can't see)?

    I agree about the background,

    He was looking at a music sheet on a stand, didn't have much space to work in so I had to leave it out (had a fixed lens on at the time)

    I like the background
    The sharp demarcation down the middle of the background serves to highlight the subject. The blue/gray color matches his shirt, and is almost the same color but lighter, the yellow/brown color really brings out the varnish of the instrument, and again is almost the same color but lighter.

    Quite brilliant, actually.
