water color

I had seen a photo that was taken of a river. the water was a yucky brown but thru photoshop they made it a real nice blue color.. how was this done any ideas?

    Usually in Photoshop, there are multiple ways to accomplish any task. For this one, you might try making a selection of the river, and then applying a hue/saturation adjustment layer to change the color.

    hmm
    so make a new layer and then use the laso to mark the river and from there use the hue and so on?
