I sent someone to a private gallery on my site to view 55 assorted pictures from a party I shot for her, asking her to select the shots she likes best so I could post process only those shots.

she sent me back an email advising she started by making comments on each shot until she discovered the "thumbs up / thumbs down" button.

now how do I find out which ones she clicked on?

It's also in your control panel, when you don't show it on your homepage.

Thanks Andy but that isn't working. None of my "popular" photos are of the gallery I mentioned.

Now, in the gallery, I went to "stats" and I'm seeing numbers after "thumbs:" but the numbers, varying from 1 to 7, make no sense to me since she only "clicked" once on the photos she liked. (protected gallery, only one person can view via password). So maybe that's not a number that corresponds to "thumbs up"?

(BTW, there's a legend at the top of the stats page that doesn't seem to correspond to any listed stats next to each photo)

oh sorry if the gallery wasn't public then they won't record it for /popular.

She'll need to actually tell you which images she wants.

Just a quick note, when you set up a gallery, you can turn off the "popular" voting feature. That way the the thumbs won't appear at all.

The "thumbs:" item shows how many times this image has been requested by a browser in thumbnail-size.
