Last Friday me and my buddy Brent went for a morning hike instead of a bike riding. Climbing 800ft China Flat was a very nice exercise.

This part of Conejo Valley is called Oak Park. Further South (directly away) is Westlake Village, a bit to the right is Thousand Oaks, to the left and South is Agoura Hills. The vantage point is here.

I'm an Inglewood boy myself....well, used to be. Escaped long ago to Nor Cal.

Have you had any issues with coyotes or rattlesnakes?

I've seen maybe a couple of rattlers during my 5 years here, but in different place. Bunnies are plentiful everywhere, it's not called Conejo Valley (conejo means rabbit in Spanish) for nothing:-), but never saw a coyote ne_nau.gif

This area (it's close to Simi Valley, as you can see from the link above) was a subject to several brush fires during the last few years (check the album for the shots of the burnt stuff), so that might have affected the fauna there. :uhoh
