Greetings, this is my first post. I look forward to learning a lot here at Dgrin. I was weeding in my yard and spotted a tiger swallowtail on my butterfly bush. Ran in to get my camera and luckily it had not flown away yet.

Welcome to Dgrin Oscar. I took the liberty of having our shot appear in your post. We are a lazy lot here and just hate that additional mouse click to bring up a shot.

This thread will tell you all you need to know about posting pics on Dgrin http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=8401

Good pic thumb.gif but I prefer the full color version in your gallery.

    Hi, Oscar.

    Very nice shot. thumb.gif

The background is cool, but I wonder what it would look like if you just left a hint of color and slightly blurred it.

    I love photographing butterflies
and Tiger Swallowtails are abundant around where I live. I love the bold colors against the black and white. Nice post processing.

Good work for your first post Oscar. I like the detail, which I find difficult with butterflies. Congratulations. clap.gifclap.gif
