Re-arranging the galleries?

Hi all ...

I am wondering, is there a way to rearrange the actual galleries themselves within a category? As it is now, they are auto arranged by when I uploaded them. I would like to change that order, but am not sure how to do it.

Note: I am not asking how to arrange photos in a gallery, but galleries within a category.

    Hi :)

    When you are logged in, right above your galleries, you will see "sort galleries - arrange." Click on arrange.

    wave.gif hi and welcome to Dgrin! It really helps us if you put your smugmug site name in your profile, or your signature, thanks.

    Anyhow, in the category listing, there's a little link when logged in, sort galleries: arrange and so click on that "arrange" button.

    Im having the same problem here - the "arrange" link is not showing up. I tried changing themes and temporarily removing my customization CSS to no avail.

    Hi :)

    Please fix your link in your signature. It says the right thing, but points to the wrong place :)

    When you are logged in, you don't see the line right above your galleries that says sort galleries: arrange?

    OK sorry about that - the link in my signature is fixed now.

    No, the "arrange" link that should be right above the galleries does not show up in any of my categories...kinda weird. I dont think I have ever tried to sort galleries before, so I dont remember if it was ever there.

    By the way, Im using Flock. I also tried it in Firefox and IE and it still doesnt work.

    I think one of your javascript hacks you are running is killing the nav link for arranging the galleries.

    I tried removing all my customization and it still didnt work...

    Look on your homepage and change it to "position" and then you'll be able to move your galleries around within a category.

    I have arranged my galleries in a category with no problem. However, whenever I add new galleries to the category, the new galleries automatically
    show up at the bottom instead of alphabetical order which is how I want them.

    Must I re-arrange the galleries everytime I add a new gallery? Or is there something I need to do to fix this problem?

    I'm having the same issue. I removed all java from my advanced customisation with no joy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
