I like this picture a lot. How did you light the girl? I'm trying to learn how to get nice portrait lighting outdoors like that ...

Oh, and I like the b&w as well clap.gif
Not there yet, but I've passed the start ...

Both are great, though I love the color. Maybe had the color and lighting not been so PERFECT I'd go for the b&w. Nice job.

hey thanks for your input. i used an old canon speedlight attached to a cord and used a homemade light diffuser which sort of works the same way a lightsphere does. if you want to know what i used, just PM me and ill be happy to share :):

so the color or the b/w? i do like the color now too lol. thanks again for the inputs.

B&W - no question. There's something funky going on with her empty hand in the color. I really see it at the edge of her hand.

    But, the B&W really rocks!

    Thanks Awais. ;)

Yeah thats because she was moving. I think the light bounced off the edges and made it smudge the light a little so it looks all soft. I just hope its not too apparent in the b/w. It almost looks like I PS her in huh? hah. Thanks for your inputs.

Now.. I just have to make a nice little border around it to compliment it.
