Couple weeks ago I took my lunch break at a local park.30D 400 5.6 and momo pod.It was hotter than....Didnt think I would see much.
Well........this guy was eyeballing me. Not shy at all.I fired away, but didnt come out with any keepers. The lighting was bad and I had to crank up the ISO.Why the heck didnt I have my tripod and flash with better beamer.:dunno
This is the first time I have seen an owl in its natural surroundings.
Dont even know what kind it is.
Ahyhoo, these are so bad that I wasnt going to post them.Maybe next time I will be prepared.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

They look pretty good to me John. Although a catch light in the eyes would have been nice from a fill flash.

    Nice captures John.
Some animals get lazy when it's hot so you're than be able to come a bit closer.

    Thanks for sharing.
