Ch 70 Alaska snack

I was going to do just berries, but the worms made their appearance and decided it did fit "contrast".

Is it a little dark? I thought about making it a little lighter/hilight, but unsure. I don't think my monitor is calibrated correctly, so thought I would get anyone's input.

    Very vibrant, I like it! What kind of berries are the prickly ones?

    They are salmon berries. Thimbleberries on top right and bottom right, and just a half view of watermelon berry on bottom right.

    I thought of other names for the photo: sweet meat; or juicy snack. :)

    The first time I saw this image was in the contest thread and I was scrolling up from the bottom as I had just made my post. I was taken in immediately by the colors, very nice, vibrant and the berry color placement helps get the viewer into the picture. Then I scrolled up a bit farther and saw the worms...after the initial 'eww' I had to smile as it fit the challenge great. :D - Dizzy
