So is it cheating to post pics taken inside an aviary??? Here are some Lorikeet shots taken at the Denver Zoo a few weeks ago from a distance of about 5-10'.

The brilliant part of my idea was to leave the kids at home and go to the zoo by myself! It's pretty hard to compose a shot with one eye and watch the kids with the other.
