    [I like the colors in the shot. The composition could be improved, IMHO, by having the tree more towards frame right. Its leaning towards the left so moving it to the right should work.

    I like the colors in your shot also and agree with Harry about the composition.

    IMHO not a keeper unless more detail was visible in the bird or the bird was bigger.

    I see what Harry's means, point the tree top towards the middle, but I
    don't think the lighting condons this. I would try to compose with the
    sun/bright side in the middle or to the left. But here the tree top curves
    the wrong way for that so middle looks best to me.

    The bright part of the tree grabs my attention first and the curve of the tree leads me to the hawk. Then the hawk is facing the right of the frame so I look there. With that in mind I think the tree should be on the left of the frame giving room in the shot for the hawk to look.
