Yes, it's available for both Mac and PC. Here's the link for their site. I'm using MediaPro 2.6.4 on a Mac and it's a really nice manager. I haven't upgraded because as an amateur, the old version is adequate for my needs. There's a trial available so you can decide for yourself.
Apparently the cheese is right there at iView's website, where you could have found the answer to your question more quickly and would have gotten a more specific and accurate answer, no doubt. Not that there was anything wrong with the answer you got, but iView's System Requirements page would have been "the cheese".
I've actually begun to look at extensis portfolio. A mate has it and is happy.I've searched other threads and whilst this programme is mentioned I guess I have to try it to see if I like it.
I have read the first chapter of the DAM book and other peoples comments, people say that it is ok to follow the DAM management system with other programmes (eg. Extensis rather than iview), however.....I can be a bit slow on the uptake with regards computing......would it be far easier for me to stick with the specified programme Iview.
Bare in mind the DAM book is on order from Amazon, not yet read.
