    The event is called "Hot August Nights" and we have it every year, This is the 20 year celebration, You can do a search on Google.com for Hot August Nights and find out a lot, There were some 6000 cars entered this year, Every year it gets bigger and bigger and to go with it is a free concert every night, Bands from the 60s.. It lasts a week.

    I always shoot RAW, Nikon NEF, Then I convert to JPG and touch up if needed with Nikon Capture 4.4, I tried to use Capture NX from Nikon and it is a pain for me to use. I also tried Photoshop CS2 and too much work, I am lazy...lol

    The paint jobs just soooooo finishes them off beautifully don't you think ?

    You gotta wonder how much $$$ is tied up in those cars ...... sorta like us Camera Geeks only even more $$$'s tied up in those wheels rolleyes1.gif

    Yes they do cost quite a bit, Some of the paint jobs are in the 1000s.
    I do enjoy my camera, I also have quite a few NASCAR photo's, Been to a lot of Races....
