Old Woman

Another strong image today. An old lady gathering something from the bin. This is Syudney's Pitt Street Mall and she is there almost everyday.
The effect you see here is colour burn. The lady and the bin were selected (as closely as I could) than I have reversed the select mask and burnt everything. This brings her and the bin into first plane. With the original image duplicated into new layer I have created a noisy image - close to old 400ISO film. Merged this with the underlaying image at 67% opacity.
As always, click on the link or the thumbnail to see the full photograph of the old woman.
