Rocky Mountain Pano's

These are from small jpg's right out of the camera. I'm drooling at the prospect of a 120mp photo....the 14 12.7mp source files, minus a certain amount of lost due to being hand held, overlap, etc.

I'm still on vacation, and my laptop isn't powerful enough to process raw files....but these rough drafts are wetting my appetitie. Made with autostitch -- just load up the files and it does the rest automatically. And it's free: http://www.cs.ubc.ca/~mbrown/autostitch/autostitch.html

This next one is from 14 photos stitched together.

You've got a great start here Lee, beautiful pano's. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product. Hope you're enjoying your stay in Colorado! :D

Thanks for the link to autostitch, I'll will definitely give that a try.

I'm certainly having fun seeing these come to life, even as I'm on vacation.

This latest one is only 3 photos. But I'm taking the photos in portrait mode...that way I can trim off the top and bottom and not end up with such skinny photos.

Having a great time. Visited Cave of the Winds and Garden of the God's today.

Here's the first one done having processed the raw files -- and then used the full sized jpg's. Still using Autostitch. I downloaded the trial of Panorama Factory, but didn't find the results any better.

Did a little shadow's highlight in photoshop -- as well as cropped it.

This is one of the views from the Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park.
